We’ve made it faster to enroll in a CL-150 Cohort! Follow these 3 easy steps.

1. Log in to the CL-150 via the portal you wish to use, such as:

2. Select the Cohorts panel on the CL-150 homepage.

3. Find the CL-150 Cohort language and proficiency level you want to join and click Enroll. You will be automatically enrolled and brought to your assignments page. If you are already enrolled select Go to Cohort and you’ll be brought to your assignments list.

What is a CL-150 Cohort?

Each week, expert CL-150 Cohort Coaches develop and distribute new software-based language lesson “workouts” at each of three proficiency levels in each of eight languages. Lessons are based on current, authentic content covering professionally relevant topics such as culture, economy, geography, military, politics, science, security, society or technology. Each lesson offers a variety of learning activities that engage the Cohort Member’s proficiency at the targeted proficiency level. Currently each of the eight languages offers three Cohorts to choose from: ILR 2, ILR 2+ or ILR 3. Cohort lessons are specifically designed to prevent language proficiency drop-off by providing professional language sustainment and enhancement for globally dispersed language professionals: Intelligence, SOF, FAOs, Diplomatic, Advisors, etc.

How can a CL-150 Cohort help me?

  • As a Cohort Member. Every week you will receive one or more engaging lessons based on current and authentic material, which you can complete online and/or on mobile devices anytime, anywhere.
  • Unit Command Language Program Managers and training administrators. Use the CL-150’s reporting technologies to track individual Cohort Members’ learning, sustainment and practice efforts across all utilized platforms.
  • Community Language Instructors and Mentors. Use these reliable, high-quality, weekly lessons as supplemental in-class and homework material.
