New: Lesson Authoring Templates (and Template-less Lessons!) Posted by meaghan on Dec 14, 2022 in For Instructors, New in Lesson Authoring
If you’ve ever authored a lesson in the CL-150 lesson authoring tool, you’re probably familiar with this process: add your text > select vocab > edit vocab > select learning activities.
But what if your lesson isn’t based on a text? Or you don’t want to add vocab?
The latest update gives you significantly more flexibility in what lessons you make—and how to make them.
You can now choose from three lesson templates (with many more on the way!):
- “Blank” Lesson
- Text Passage
- Vocab Items
The vocab lesson template requires only vocabulary to get started, whereas the reading lesson requires only a text source.
The “blank” lesson is template-less—a blank slate that you can use to make any lesson you’d like, based on any source (text, audio, video, grammar table, etc.)
Check out the video below to see the biggest changes in action and stay tuned for more lesson templates coming in 2023!
