Last week, the husband and I were invited to a quiz night to raise money for a camping trip. I was a bit nervous about how fast my thinking would be for a quiz night in Dutch. There are many questions to answer and you only have a short amount of time to do it, so having to ask what stuff means is very time-consuming for the team.

In order to test yourself in your speed in Dutch (and some common knowledge), try answering the following questions as fast as possible:
In welke zee ligt Aruba?
(Answers at the end)
Are you ready to test yourself? The following video is of a kids quiz. Can you answer these questions?
Since I was a little girl, I was fascinated with languages and writing. I speak English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and a little bit of French. I am a writer, reader, language teacher, traveler, and a food lover!
I now live in The Netherlands with my husband Riccardo, our cat Mona, and our dog Lisa, and the experience has been phenomenal. The Dutch culture is an exciting sometimes topsy-turvy world that I am happily exploring!
