Sometimes, while traveling, we visit places without having a reservation first. In this post, there is an example of a hotel conversation. Some phrases are translated literally.

 

(Ρ) indicates the receptionist (ρεσεψιονίστ) and (Π) the customer (πελάτης).

(Π) Γεια σας. Θα ήθελα ένα δωμάτιο για δύο βράδια, παρακαλώ. Δεν έχω κάνει κράτηση.

Hello. I would like a room for two nights, please. I don’t have a reservation.

(Ρ) Μάλιστα.Για πόσα άτομα;

Certainly. For how many people?

(Π) Για δύο άτομα.

For two people.

(Ρ) Υπάρχουν τρία διαθέσιμα δωμάτια. Θέλετε με διπλό κρεβάτι ή με δύο μονά;

There are three rooms available. Would you like (a room) with a double bed or with two single beds?

(Π) Με δύο μονά, παρακαλώ.

With two single beds, please.

(Ρ) Θέλετε πρωινό;

Do you want breakfast?

(Π) Ναι.

(Ρ) Η τιμή του δωματίου είναι 120 ευρώ για δύο βράδια.Το πρωινό κοστίζει επιπλέον πέντε ευρώ το άτομο. Σερβίρεται από τις 8 (οκτώ) ως τις 10 (δέκα) στην τραπεζαρία στο ισόγειο.

The price is 120 euro for two nights. Breakfasts costs 5 euro per person in addition. It is served form 8 to 10 in the morning in the dining room on the ground floor.

(Π) Εντάξει.Τι περιλαμβάνεται στην τιμή του δωματίου;

(Ρ) Η χρήση του Wi-Fi, η χρήση του πάρκινγκ και η χρήση ξαπλώστρας στην παραλία.

Does the room have a refrigerator?

(Ρ) Ναι, έχει ένα μικρό ψυγείο. Υπάρχει και μίνι μπαρ αλλά δεν περιλαμβάνεται στην τιμή.

Yes, it has a small refrigerator. There is also a mini bar but it is not included in the price.

(Π) Ποιες είναι οι ώρες άφιξης και αναχώρησης;

What are the check in and check out times?

(Ρ) Η ώρα άφιξης είναι 13:00 και η ώρα αναχώρησης 12:00.

(Π) Εντάξει. Θέλετε να σας πληρώσω τώρα;

(Ρ )Όχι, μπορείτε να πληρώσετε κατά την αναχώρηση. Συμπληρώστε αυτή τη φόρμα, παρακαλώ. Επίσης, θα χρειαστώ ένα διαβατήριο.
