Here’s something you and someone you love might enjoy. Instead of the usual “darling”, “baby” or “cutie”, why not say it in Hebrew? It’s fun 馃檪

The following are used for loved ones, or can even be used to address complete strangers (much like the British terms of “duckie” or “love”):

To a male:

讬拽讬专讬 – my dear, darling
诪转讜拽讬 – sweetie
讞诪讜讚讬 – cute, cutie

To a female:

诪转讜拽讛 – sweetie
讞诪讜讚讛 – cute, cutie
讬拽讬专转讬 – my dear, darling

To address a loved one, you have:

注讬谞讬讬诐 砖讈诇讬 – my eyes

谞砖讈诪讛 – soul
谞砖讈诪讛 砖讈诇讬 – my soul
讞讬讬诐 砖讈诇讬– my life

These are used only for your lover – using them on a stranger can lead to a misunderstanding.

讗讛讜讘讬 – my love (masc)
讗讛讜讘转讬 – my love (fem)
讬讜谞转讬 – my dove
驻旨砖讈讜砖讈 – warbler, little bird

You can attach the ending to a term of endearment to make it more personal and affectionate:

讞诪讜讚讛 – my dear cutie

讗讛讜讘转讬 – my dear love (fem)
