Let me take you to the state of Uttar Pradesh today. Uttar Pradesh is a north Indian state which share its boundary with Delhi. The word, Uttar Pradesh (उत्तर प्रदेश) is made of two words, Uttar (उत्तर – North) and Pradesh (प्रदेश – State).
Uttar Pradesh has been seat of many empires since ancient times. It has several cities which boost of royal palaces, sacred religious sites and other historical monuments. Some of the cities that you don’t want to miss on your trip to Uttar Pradesh are,
Agra (आगरा)
