Imagine being the only people atop the world’s largest Buddhist temple, watching the sun disappear behind the clouds and seeing a mighty volcano emerge from the shadows. Total silence befalls the ancient monument, and you turn on your flashlight to take in the intricate relief carvings along the walls. We were fortunate enough to have this experience when visiting the Borobudur temple. Check out some highlights in this short video:
