Some of the terms come from the recent blogs on dreigítí, cóiméid, and astaróidigh, and some are general terms that might well be familiar, even to the neamhshaineolaí, like myself.  Freagraí thíos, as usual.

As for the phrase “súil siar,” which is i dteideal an bhlag seo, it means “review.”  Or as might be said in Irish or British English , “revision.”  LIterally, it’s an “eye back” or an “eye west.”  “West” can also mean “back” in Irish, as in “to lie back in bed” (luí siar sa leaba).

Of course, if we follow the late Jack Horkheimer’s advice to be “ag féachaint suas,” the eyes will be “up,” not “back” or “west.”  SAL, Róislín
