Hot spring is one of the places I would love to visit whenever I go back to Japan. Especially this time of the year, it will be really nice to soak in the hot spring and relax. If you have been to any of the resorts in Japan, you would know what I mean.  In this post today, let me share with you the 10 best hot spring resorts in Japan for 2015. Kinosaki Hot Spring Town (Hyogo, Japan)

Kinosaki is known as a hot spring town. The whole town is all about hot spring and strolling wearing Yukata (ゆかた、浴衣) Japanese casual summer kimono. You can enjoy fresh crabs in this town. This town is popular for visitors since it’s so close to Kyoto, one of the most historical sites in Japan. Check this hot spring town out here.

Arima Onsen (Hyogo, Japan)

Another hot spring from Hyogo prefecture in Japan. As you might know, this hot spring is in Kobe Japan, it’s also close to Osaka.  It is one of the oldest onsens in Japan. You can plan your trip to Arima Onsen right here.

Sengokuhara Onsen (Kanagawa, Japan)

Sengokuhara is located in Hakone area (part of Fuji-Hakone National Park) in Kanagawa prefecture. Hakone is one of the most popular sites for visitors.

Another favorite hot spring sites in Hokkaido. Less than an hour away from Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. Why not visit here next time you are in Hokkaido?

Hida Takayama Onsen (Gifu, Japan)

This is by far my favorite onsen site, and the place I have visited the most in Japan. Just because this is in my hometown.

Another site from Ohita Prefecture in Japan. This is also one of the most popular sites by Japanese people. Yufuin is close to Beppu, surrounded by mountains.

Kawaguchiko Onsen (Yamanashi, Japan)

 

 

No. 1 on the list is Kawaguchiko Onsen. Over looking Mt. Fuji, this is one of the most amazing view you can imagine. If you have a limited time to stay in Japan, visit this place so you can enjoy both Mt. Fuji and amazing hot spring!
