Japanese National Parks Posted by on Jan 27, 2011 in Uncategorized

Did you know that Japan is a beautiful place with many national parks? Here are some my favorite national parks:

Kushiro Shitsugen Kokuritsu Kōen (釧路湿原国立公園) or Kushiro Shitsugen National Park is known for its beautiful, green wetlands.

Daisetsuzan Kokuritsu Kōen (大雪山国立公園) or Daisetsuzan National Park is the largest national park in Japan.

Shiretoko Kokuritsu Kōen (知床国立公園) or Shiretoko National Park is a World Heritage Site. It’s an isolated national park that occupies the northern most tip of Japan.

Shikotsu Tōya Kokuritsu Kōen (支笏洞爺国立公園) is a beautiful park known for its hot springs.
