Hakone – Ryokan and Onsen (Video) Posted by on Aug 17, 2012 in Culture

Just a few hours from Japan’s capital city of Tokyo lies the mountainous area known as Hakone. From the big city, you can take a bullet train, switch to a scenic train, and finally take a short cable car ride to get here. With such beautiful scenery, the ride is half the fun! Two of the best things you can do here are stay in a traditional Japanese ryokan (guesthouse), and go for a dip in the onsen (hot spring). Take a short tour of both in this video!

In case you missed the first two written posts about Hakone, they can be found HERE and HERE.

Would you like to go there? If you have any questions, feel free to post those as well.
