Third conjugation Latin verbs end in ere in the present active infinitive. There are no regular rules for conjugating third conjugation verbs in the perfect tense, but you can clumb certain groups of verbs together that follow a predictable pattern within that class of verbs.

Verbs that have the perfect tense suffix -sī or xī are conjugated in the following way:

gerere = to wear, to bear

In the active present indicative:

gerō

geris

gerit

gerimus

geritis

gerunt

In the passive present indicative:

geror

gereris

geritur

gerimur

geriminī

geruntur
