You could be gifted with a talent that is your special interest today. Well, it could be your profession tomorrow! Yes, hobbies can shape up into becoming careers, and hobbies can make you good money.We all like to do different things, we all have different hobby. In today’s blog I wanted to talk about describibg your interests and things you like to do. Here is a little vocabulary that could be helpful:

Hobby – hobby, pasja

Interest – zainteresowanie

Sports – sporty

Interesują mnie różne sporty. I’m interested in various sports.

Run – biegać

Lubię biegać. I like to run.

Ride a horse – jeździć konno

Horse – koń

Lubię jeździć konno. I like to ride a horse.

Ride a bike – jeździć na rowerze

Bike – rower

Lubię jeździć na rowerze. I like to ride a bike.

Drive a car – prowadzić samochód, jeździć samochodem

Play computer games – grać w gry komputerowe

Surf the internet – korzystać z internetu, surfować internet

Play piano – grać na pianinie

Lubię grać na pianinie.I like to play piano.

Gram na pianinie przynajmniej 3 razy w tygodniu. I play piano at least 3 times a week.

Play guitar – grać na gitarze

Listen to music – słuchać muzyki

Lubię śpiewać gdy sprzątam. I like to sing when I clean.

Meet with friends – spotykać się z przyjaciółmi

Paint – malować

Lubię malować krajobrazy, czasami portrety. I like to paint landscapes, sometimes portraits.

Cook – gotować

Dance – taniec (to dance – tańczyć)

Camp – obóz, kemping (to camp – obozować, mieszkać w namiocie)

Photography – fotografia, fotografowanie

Water sports – sporty wodne

Lubię sporty wodne, szczególnie nurkowanie.  I like water sports, especially diving.

Winter sports – sporty zimowe

Lubię sporty zimowe,  szczególnie jazdę na nartach.

Skiing – jazda na nartach, narciarstwo

Ice skating  – jazda na łyżwach, łyżwiarstwo

collect different things – zbierać różne rzeczy, kolekcjonować

Kolekcjonuję stare monety. I collect old coins.

Travel – podróżować
