We all like to do different things in the morning, get up at different hours. Today I wanted to share with you how to describe your morning routine…and the days that are not really like your routine.
Some of us are “early birds” which in Polish we describe as “ranne ptaszki” (singular: ranny ptaszek). Others like to sleep longer…I’m definitely in the second group.
to sleep longer – spać dłużej
person who likes to sleep a lot – śpioch (diminutive – śpioszek)
Some of us use alarm clock (budzik) to wake up (obudzić się) in the morning. I always wake up without it…
Some of us like to lay in bed (leżeć w łóżku) and watch TV (oglądać telewizję) or read a book (czytać książkę) before getting up.
A lot of people like to get up early and work out (uprawiać sport), either at the gym (na siłowni) or outdoors (na świeżym powietrzu). Then they take a shower (brać prysznic), eat breakfast (jeść śniadanie), or not…and head to school (iść do szkoły) or work (iść do pracy)….or spend a day off the way they like.
Well, I definitely like to sleep longer and working from home definitely helps! I like to have my coffee (napić się kawy) and catch up on the news (nadrobić zaległości w wiadomościach), either on tv or in newspaper. (oglądać telewizję lub czytać gazety).
And how is your morning like? Try to describe it in Polish:)
Do następnego razu… (Till next time…)
