Polish supermodel Anja Rubik has teamed up with renowned Italian shoe designer to launch the Giuseppe for Anja Rubik collection.
She has been hard at work with Italian shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti on a new capsule collection of footwear and accessories.
The ‘Giuseppe for Anja Rubik’ collection is set to debut at the beginning of March and expected to retail at an average price of £790. The pair have been friends since Rubik first starred as the face (and Bambi-esque legs) of Zanotti’s eponymous line.
In 2011, the designer teamed up with Chopard to produce a pair of pink sapphire, diamond and ruby-encrusted shoes for Rubik to wear to the Cannes Film Festival which Rubik then auctioned in front of a celebrity-packed crowd to raise £125,000 for AIDS charity amfAR.
The supermodel likes to flex her creative muscles. Last year she relaunched 25 Magazine with her husband, Sasha Knezevic, ringing in fashion favours from fellow models including Karlie Kloss and Abbey Lee Kershaw for the erotically-themed issue.
Take a look at this video to get a glimpse behind the scenes as the model is photographed brandishing her new shoes and accessories, and posing alongside Zanotti (you have to click on the link – video is unlisted and you can only view it through the link).

My name is Kasia Scontsas. I grew near Lublin, Poland and moved to Warsaw to study International Business. I have passion for languages: any languages! Currently I live in New Hampshire. I enjoy skiing, kayaking, biking and paddle boarding. My husband speaks a little Polish, but our daughters are fluent in it! I wanted to make sure that they can communicate with their Polish relatives in our native language. Teaching them Polish since they were born was the best thing I could have given them!
I have been writing about learning Polish language and culture for Transparent Language’s Polish Blog since 2010.
