I bet all of you know the story about the princess and the frog! Well, most of you probably heard that you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince! I met my prince and stayed with “Kochanie” (honey). However if you meet your Polish prince/princess, you will find it pretty common when he/she calls you little froggy/fish/mouse and similar pet names…This is actually really sweet way of calling your loved one!
In Poland, terms of endearment are often animal related and calling someone teddy bear, kitten froggie, baby tiger or mouse is quite normal.
Perhaps you will like kotku (little kitty)?
Or you may like to call you baby rybko (fish)?
How about myszko (little mouse)?
Króliczku (my little rabbit) will work as well…

Misiu/Misiaczku (My little teddy bear) is used quite often as well
And what how do you call person you love?
Do następnego razu… (Till next time…)
