Adiós, Jenni Rivera Posted by on Dec 12, 2012 in Videos

Jenni Rivera was born Jenny Dolores Rivera Saavedra, in Long Beach, California. She started her career in 1992, after getting divorced from her husband. Jenni was successful regional Mexican music artist and entrepreneur with companies like Divina Realty, Divina Cosmetics, Jenni Rivera Fragrance, Jenni Jeans, Divine Music and The Jenni Rivera Love Foundation.

Nominated to several Latin Grammys and other Latin music awards, Jenni sold over 15 million albums worldwide and was famous for her romantic and upbeat songs. She died last Sunday in a plane crash, going from Monterrey to Toluca (Mexico), where she was supposed to appear in the Mexican version of The Voice, La Voz, with Paulina Rubio, Miguel Bosé and Beto Cuevas.

Here is a video of Jenni’s father sadly confirming her death.

On a lighter note, let’s check out Jenni’s vocal talent with this video of a medley from her last album, Joyas Prestadas (Borrowed Jewels).

  2. Gilson Jr.:

    Seria uma “nota em vídeo”?

    • Adir:

@Gilson Jr. Não, Gilson, on a lighter note significa pra quebrar o clima de velório, por isso coloquei um clipe dela cantando. Ficou light?
