New Year’s Resolutions in Spanish Posted by on Dec 28, 2012 in Spanish Culture

¡Hola! ¿Cómo están?

It’s that time of the year when you look back at what happened in 2012, take stock and also plan on doing some things in 2013 (we all do that, right?).

New Year’s resolutions are a part of almost everybody so I asked some friends on Facebook what their resolutions will be for 2013 so take a look at what I came up with.

  • Perder peso. [lose weight]
  • Trabajar menos. [work less]
  • Ejercitarse más. [work out more]
  • Aprender un nuevo idioma. [learn a new language]
  • Acostarse más temprano. [go to bed earlier]
  • Despertarse más temprano. [wake up earlier]
  • Ser más agradecido. [be more grateful]
  • Reclamar menos. [complain less]
  • Aprender a cocinar. [learn how to cook]
  • Beber más vino y menos cerveza [drink more wine and less beer]
  • Ser más paciente [be more patient]
  • Ir al gimnasion por lo menos tres veces a la semana [go to the gym at least three times a week]
  • Pasar menos tiempo en Facebook [spend less time on Facebook]
  • Ir a todas las fiestas de familia [go to all family parties]
  • Leer más libros [read more books]

¿Y tú? ¿Cuáles son tus resoluciones para el 2013?

Happy 2013!
