        Today, I present the translation of the previous Arabic passage and the answers to the grammar questions based on that passage.

لقد وَهبَ اللهُ مصرَ الكثيرَ مِنَ النِعَم , فلها موقعٌ ممتازٌ يَربُطُ بَين أعظم بَحرَيْن تـُجَارييْـن هـُمَا البحرُ المتوسط و البحرُ الأحمر. كما مـَنـَحَها الله طقساً معتدلاً في الصيفِ و الشتاء . و قد حَمَى الله مصرَ مِن البراكين و العواصف المدمرة , و وَهـَـبَها النيلَ المبارك الذي كـَـسَـا أرضَـها ثوبَ الخـُضرةِ و كـَسَـا الأشجارَ بالأزهار الجميلة . لذلك , مَـنْ يَزورُ مِصرَ يُحِـبُّـهـَا و لا ينسى شعبـَها الطيب

Translation:

      Allah has granted Egypt a lot of blessings as it has an excellent location that links two great trade seas; the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. Also, Allah has granted her a weather that is mild in summer and winter. Allah has protected Egypt from volcanoes and destructive storms and granted her the blessed Nile which turned her into land green and dressed her trees with beautiful flowers. So, whoever visits Egypt loves her and never forgets her kind people.

 

1-      Answers to the choice questions:

         A- The verb وهب /wahaba/= the verb منح /manaha/= the verb أعطى /A’taa/= gave/granted.

         B- The singular of the word النعم is  نعمة  /ne’mah/ = blessing.

         C- The opposite of the verb يحب  is the verb يكره  /yakrah/ = to hate.

         D- The opposite of the verb ينسى is the verb يتذكر /yata’tha’kkar/ = to forget.

         E- The plural of شعب is the word شعوب /sho’oub/ = peoples.   

2-      Answers to Write from the passage:

        A- The proper noun is مصر /Misr/ = Egypt or النيل /anneal/ = the Nile.

        B- The dual noun is بحريين /bahrayn/ = two seas.

        C- The singular of the word البراكين is  بركان /borkaan/ = a volcano.

        D- A present verb is يربط  = links or يزور = visits or ينسى = forgets.

        E- The plural of the word ( بحر = sea ) is بحور /bohoor/ or بحار /bi’haar/.
