Marhaba! If you are an American, have American friends or just interested in learning about different traditions across the world, you would know that Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in the United States on the fourth Thursday in November. It became an official federal holiday back in 1863 and to this very day families across the globe gather together for a traditional feast, which includes turkey, pumpkin pie, sweet potatoes and cranberry sauce. If you share my passion for food and like to learn new recipes from the around world and from different cuisines, then you would really enjoy preparing and cooking a turkey. If you have not had a chance to cook a turkey yet, then by all means plan on doing so soon.
