الإجــابــات Answers

أســاســيــات الــخــط الــعــربــي الــتــى حــولــتــه إلــى فــنٍ مــتــعــارف عــلــيــه هــى: الــخــط ، و الــنــقــطــة ، و الــدائــرة.       

1) The basics of the Arabic calligraphy, that turned it into a common art, are the line, the dot and the circle.

بــعــضُ أنــواع الــخــط الــعــربــي هــى: الــكــوفــيّ ، و الــنــبــطــيّ ، و الــثــُــلــثــي ، و الــســُــلــطــانــيّ .. و غــيــرهــا الــكــثــيــر.   

2) Some names of Arabic calligraphy fonts are: Kufic, Nabataean, Thuluth, Diwani .. and many more.

لــكــل نــوع مــن أنــواع الــخــطــوط الــعــربــيــة قــصــة و أصــل و تــاريــخ و زخــرفــة خــاصــة.  

3) To each Arabic calligraphy font a story, an origin, a history and a special decoration.

جــنــســيــة الــخــطــَّــاطــة حــنــان هــى الأردنــيـــة ، و هــى تــعــمــل فــى دار لــلــتــصــمــيــم ؛ اســم الــدار هــو الــصــلــصــال.   

4) The nationality of the calligrapher Hanan is Jordanian and she works in a design house called Silsal.

الــمــواد الــتــى يــســتــخــدمــونــهـــا فــى تــصــامــيــمــهــم هــى الــخــزف ، و الــخــشــب ، و الــبــلــكــســى ، و الــنــحــاس.  

5) The materials they use in their designs are ceramic, wood, Plexi and copper.

ســِـــرُّ نــجــاح هــذا الــمــشــروع هــو مــزايــا الــخــط الــعــربــي و ســحــره و الــقــدرة عــلــى اِســتــخــدامــه فــى تــصــامــيــم عــصــريــة.  

6) The secret reason for the success of this project is the privileges and charm of the Arabic calligraphy and the ability to use it in modern designs.

الــشــُــعــراءُ الــعــرب الــذيــن تــضــع عــبــلــة أشــعــارهــم عــلــى تــصــامــيــمــهــا هــُــم نــزار قــبــانــي ، و مــحــمــود درويــش ، و جــبــران خــلــيــل جــبــران.

7) The Arab poets that Ablah puts their poetry on her designs are Nizar Qabbani, Mahmoud Darwish and Jubran Khalil Jubran.

أنــواعُ الأشــعــار الــتــى تــضــعــهــا عــبــلــة عــلــى تــصــامــيــمــهــا هــى أشــعــار الــحــب و الأشــعــار الــوطــنــيــة.

8) The types of poetry that Ablah puts on her designs are love and patriotic poetry.

يــُــقــبــِــل الأجــانــبُ عــلــى شــِــراء هــذه الــتــصــامــيــم رغــم عــدم مــعــرفــتــهــم بــالــلــغـــة الــعــربــيــة لأنــهــم يــنــجــذبــون إلــى جــمــالــيــة الــخط.  

9) Why do foreigners tend and love to buy these designs though they do not know Arabic because they are attracted to the beauty of the Arabic calligraphy.

اِســتــمــِــع مــرة ثــانــيــة و أكــمــِــلْ الــعــِــبــَــارة الــتــالــيــة:

10) Listen again and complete the following sentence:

“أوانــي دار الــصــِــلــصــَــال تــُــبــَــاعُ فــى أنــحــاء الــعــالــم ، و بــعــض الأعــمــال عــُــرضــَــتْ فــى مــَــتــاحــِــفَ بــريــطــانــيــة ، ســرُّ الــنــجــاح كــمــا يــقــول الــمــشــرفــون عــلــى الــمــشــروع هــو مــَــزايــا الــخــط الــعــربــي و ســِــحــْــرهِ و الــقــدرة عــلــى إســتــخــدامــهِ فــى تــَـــصــامــيــمَ عــصــريــة “

تــَـــرجــَــمــة الــجــمــلــة إلــى الــلــغــة الإنــجــلــيــزيــة:   

11) Translation of the sentence into English:

“الــخــطُّ ، و الــنــُــقــطــةُ ، و الــدائــِــرة : ثــلاثــة بــنــودٍ أســاســيــةٍ يــرتــكــزُ عــلــيــهــا الــخــط الــعــربــي.”

“The line, the dot and the circle are the three major elements that the Arabic calligraphy is based on.”

    Dear Mr. Fisal, Sir, if you kindly allow me + Transparent Language as well ,to pay tribute to all The Great ARAB CALLIGRAPHERS ,anywhere/?? …in my case The LEBANESE,be it departed or still with us the mortals , like Al BaBa s,… Mr.Tayseer Qabbani….Hasan Al FOUTOUNI…..Mohamad Al Yateem…. But most of them all Mr. Youssef Al ASSI whom was the one who done all the works for AL SHAHRAZADE women s weekly/ Bissat ul Reeh children s weekly/AlMOGHAMER magazines headlines and especially filling the cartoon strip bubbles? i had the opportunity in 1967 witnessing his hard work in his office in Al Azzari-yeh in downtown Beirut ….Thy made the sugar cane bamboo shaped calligraphy tools….enlighten..millions with their writings? Today technology took over all that the writing sheets/the black ink /the pens of all sizes …but one thing it won t give back,is ,that spiritual connection , between the calligrapher and the reader of his lines and sincerity of each written ..word .
