Dear Mr. Fisal, Sir, if you kindly allow me + Transparent Language as well ,to pay tribute to all The Great ARAB CALLIGRAPHERS ,anywhere/?? …in my case The LEBANESE,be it departed or still with us the mortals , like Al BaBa s,… Mr.Tayseer Qabbani….Hasan Al FOUTOUNI…..Mohamad Al Yateem…. But most of them all Mr. Youssef Al ASSI whom was the one who done all the works for AL SHAHRAZADE women s weekly/ Bissat ul Reeh children s weekly/AlMOGHAMER magazines headlines and especially filling the cartoon strip bubbles? i had the opportunity in 1967 witnessing his hard work in his office in Al Azzari-yeh in downtown Beirut ….Thy made the sugar cane bamboo shaped calligraphy tools….enlighten..millions with their writings? Today technology took over all that the writing sheets/the black ink /the pens of all sizes …but one thing it won t give back,is ,that spiritual connection , between the calligrapher and the reader of his lines and sincerity of each written ..word .
