Welcome to the last post of this series where we’re doing some fun Arabic language exercises. (Please have with you a ورقة paper and قلم pen/pencil)

In this post, we’re going to test our vocabulary memory by playing the (Name 4 of …. in Arabic) game. Yes, think of it as a game; no pressure. We’re going to begin first with nouns then more grammatical categories.

✨Nouns

• Name 4 fruits (فواكه)

• Name 4 vegetables (خضار) 

• Name 4 Arab countries (بلاد عربية)

• Name 4 Arab country capitals (عواصم بلاد عربية)

• Name 4 jobs (وظائف)

• Name 4 places (أماكن)

• Name 4 things (أشياء)

• Name 4 animals (حيوانات)

• Name 4 colors (ألوان)

• Name the 4 seasons (فصول)

• Name 4 kinds of food (أنواع طعام)

• Name 4 kinds of drinks (أنواع شراب)

• Name 4 types of clothing  (أنواع ملابس)

✨Other grammatical categories 

• Give 4 pronouns (ضمائر) 

• Give 4 adjectives (صفات)

• Give 4 prepositions (حروف جر)

• Give 4 present tense verbs (أفعال مضارعة)

• Give 4 past tense verbs (أفعال ماضية)

• Give 4 future tense verbs (أفعال مستقبل)

• Give 4 imperative verbs (أفعال أمر)

✨Now, try to take one noun of each category and write a sentence using examples from the grammatical categories.
