Chinese Zodiac: The Horse Posted by on Jan 31, 2009 in Uncategorized

Hello Readers!

Today’s topic is the Horse.

For those who were born in the year of the (horse), an opportunity to 出风头 (be in the limelight) is never passed up.  They are rather 巧妙 (clever) in social situations.  One thing that stands out about the horse, however, is the inability to 保守秘密 (keep secrets).  Like the free-roaming animal, Horse people are fond of 旅行 (traveling).  Their personality is not all free-wheeling, however, as the Horse also tends to have a 悲观 (pessimistic) rather than 乐观 (optimistic) outlook and tends to 牺牲 (sacrifice) too easily.  Despite these traits, the Horse is bent on living a 奢侈 (luxurious) lifestyle, which should not be difficult to attain as the Horse excels in moneymaking.  Famous Horses include Barbara Streisand, Harrison Ford, Mike Tyson, and Clint Eastwood.

Years of the Horse: 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014, and 2026
