Huanghuacheng Great Wall Posted by sasha on Jul 31, 2017 in Culture
A great day trip out of Beijing is a visit to Huanghuacheng Great Wall (黄花城 – huáng huā chéng) – the “Yellow Flower Wall.” The name for this section of the Great Wall comes from the wild flowers that bloom here in the summer.
It’s also known as the “Water Great Wall” (水长城 – shuǐ cháng chéng) because it’s surrounded by a lake and a reservoir. Check out some highlights of a great day hiking the Great Wall in this short video!
