Spring Cleaning Posted by on Apr 23, 2010 in Uncategorized

Taking a break from urban transport discussion, I’d like to talk about cleaning up the apartment.  If you’ve found that your 木板 (mu4ban3 – floorboards)  are caked with 灰尘 (hui1chen2), it may be time to break out the 拖布 (tuo1bu4 – mop) and start to clean your abode.  You’ll need your best 海绵 (hai3mian2 – sponge), some sturdy 手套 (shou3tao4 – gloves), and from there you can begin to 打扫卫生 (da2(3)sao3wei4sheng1 – clean).  Don’t be too concerned about 化学制品 (hua4xue2zhi4pin3 – chemical products)  in cleaning solutions- as long as your apartment 通风 (tong1feng1 – is airy/has air passing through), it should be fine.
