Learn offline

You can now download lessons in the CL-150 mobile app to learn when you’re offline.

All offline progress will sync next time you log in while online. Your learning progress and Learned Vocab will carry over and all offline learning data will be available in admin reports.

Refresher Courses

Taking a DLPT in 2024?

We recommend sustaining year-round with Cohort lessons. But in the weeks or months leading up to your test, you’ll want some extra prep.

Refresh your listening and reading skills up to ILR 2, 2+, or 3 with a custom Reading and Listening Refresher Course! You pick the language, schedule, and proficiency goals. Our instructors will design a course to meet them ASAP.

Two of our latest Refresher students crushed their goals:

• A Chinese student was aiming for ILR 2/2/2 on her DLPT and OPI. After the 80-hour course she scored a 3/2/2+.
• A Russian student was aiming for ILR 3/3/3 on his tests. After a part-time 80-hour course he scored a 4/3+/3+.

ILR 3+ Cohort Lessons

ILR 3 is no longer the ceiling—for you, or for CL-150 Cohort lessons!

Improve your reading and listening skills with ILR 3+ Cohort lessons in Chinese, Farsi, French, Russian, and Spanish.

Each language has 36 hour-long lessons. 3 listening lessons and 3 reading lessons based on authentic sources in each of the following domains: Geopolitics, Economics, Cyber & Technology, Defense, Terrorism, and Crime & Narcotics.

Intermediate “For Professionals” Courses

In 2022, we launched our Beginner “For Professionals” course (ILR 0-1) in Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish.

Now you can make deeper personal and professional connections in French, Russian, and Spanish with Intermediate “For Professionals”. Progress from CEFR ILR 1-2 with 80+ hours of vocab, grammar, conversations, and culture. (Stay tuned for Chinese 1-2. 👀)

While ideal for use with an instructor, the components can also be completed on your own if you need to expand or brush up on your vocab and grammar.

Chinese 30×30 Challenge

In 2022, we launched two new beginner Chinese courses: tones and radicals. Now the trifecta is complete with the Chinese Pinyin course.

If you’re new to Mandarin and don’t know where to begin, or need a refresher on the basics, join the 30×30 Challenge! In just 30 minutes per day for 30 days you’ll tackle tones, radicals, and pinyin and be well on your way.
