Winter art project – a snowflake (Video) Posted by on Dec 27, 2012 in Culture, English Vocabulary

Oh the weather outside is frightful*

But the fire is so delightful**

And since we’ve no place to go

Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

These are some lyrics from an American Christmas carol, which I have highlighted here to get you in the mood for the video I have for you today.  The last line of these lyrics is the most important part of this song for today, “Let it snow! Let it Snow! Let it snow!”  With winter here, I thought it would be the perfect time to celebrate snow by showing you how to make a snowflake – out of paper of course.  This video also has a vocabulary review of shape words (like: square, circle, etc.) and snow related vocabulary and expressions.  Enjoy and Let it snow! Let it Snow! Let it snow!

*frightful = awful, scary

**delightful = lovely, nice
