The World Cup’s semifinal is calling. In a few hours Germany and Brazil will compete at Estádio Mineirão in Belo Horizonte. The German TV station ARD is responsible for the live broadcast of the game. In order to accompany the impressions of the soccer World Cup musically the ARD chose Andreas Bourani’s song Auf uns, which has been played since this year’s first soccer broadcast. The song conveys the “appropriate atmosphere” and can be “assigned to the high sights of Germany’s national team”, says Axel Balkausky, sports coordinator at ARD.

Whether Germany or Brazil will win today’s match remains to be seen. Andreas Bourani’s song Auf uns has already pumped Germany up for the semifinal. Are you ready for the game?
