Karnataka is a southwestern state in India. Kannada is the official language and its capital city is Bangalore. Karnataka is a land rich with history and culture. The food is also great. Check out these wonderful palate pleasers.

Ragi Mudde is made by making dough by mixing boiling water and flour. The dough is placed in a small round cup or bowl and let to cool. Then the ball of dough is taken out and eaten with curry.

Mysore Pak is a sweet snack in Karnataka. It is made of flour, water, sugar, butter and cooking oil. The name Mysore comes from a city in Karnataka.

Akki Rotti is a rice pancake made of rice, salt, flour, water, ginger, onions, green chilies, cumin, butter, carrots and coriander.
