The characters (ra) and र् (r) can form two types of compounds. When (ra) comes after a half consonant character, the character changes. See if you can figure out what has changed. Type your answers in the comment section of this post.

k (क्) + ra () = kra (क्र). (नक्र)(nakra)(alligator)

g (ग्) + ra () = gra (ग्र). (अग्रेसर)(agresar)(leader)

t (त्) + ra () = tra (त्र). (रात्रि)(raatri)(night)

d (द्) + ra () = dra (द्र). (द्रुम)(druma)(plant)

sh (श्) + ra () = shra (श्र). (श्रद्धा)(shraddhaa)(faith)

t (ट्) + ra () = tra (ट्र). (राष्ट्र). (raashtra)(nation)

d (इ्) + ra () = dra (ड्र). (ड्रामा). (draamaa)(drama)
