Non è un momento facile per la popolazione mondiale, a causa della pandemia da Coronavirus.

L’Italia, uno dei paesi ad oggi più colpiti, è stato dopo la Cina il primo stato che si è mosso con misure drastiche, forti e decise, visto l’aumentare del numero dei casi di giorno in giorno.

Italy, one of the most affected countries to date, was the first country after China to move with drastic, strong, and decisive measures, given the increasing number of cases day to day.

Il Bel Paese vive un momento drammatico, e chi governa ha adottato misure senza precedenti per contenere il virus, chiudendo di fatto in casa tutti i suoi cittadini.

Basti pensare che non si può uscire se non per motivi indispensabili: andare in farmacia o recarsi al supermercato, o recarsi al lavoro. Per ogni spostamento, che comunque è sconsigliato, è necessario portare con sé un documento che si chiama “autocertificazione” in cui si dichiara alla Polizia, che effettua numerosi controlli, il motivo per cui si è usciti di casa. Con questo metodo, molto forte, il governo mira ad arginare il problema, anche se i risultati si vedranno probabilmente nelle prossime settimane.

Just think that you cannot go out except for reasons that are absolutely necessary: going to the pharmacy or going to the supermarket, or going to work. For every move, which is however not recommended, it is necessary to bring a document with you called “self-certification” in which you declare to the police, who carry out numerous checks, the reason why you left the house. With this very strong method, the government aims to stem the problem, although the results are likely to be seen in the coming weeks.

Questo viene fatto in quanto il virus è molto contagioso, il che mette a rischio soprattutto le persone che hanno già altre malattie, e quindi gli stessi ospedali non hanno abbastanza posti letto visto l’aumentare costante dei casi.

This is done because the virus is very contagious, which puts people who already have other diseases at risk, and therefore the hospitals themselves do not have enough beds due to the constant increase in cases.

La mossa attuata vuole quindi “spalmare” gli ammalati in un lasso di tempo maggiore, per consentire quindi le cure necessarie a chi contrae il virus

The move implemented therefore is to “spread” the sickness over a longer period of time, thus allowing the necessary treatments for those who contract the virus.

Il problema più grande, probabilmente, è quello che nel resto del mondo molte persone stanno sottovalutando la reale situazione di emergenza che la società moderna sta vivendo, il che ci espone a dei rischi ancora maggiori.

The biggest problem, probably, is that in the rest of the world many people are underestimating the real emergency situation that modern society is experiencing, which exposes us to even greater risks.

In questo momento quindi di enorme difficoltà, bisogna rispettare alcune semplici regole che ogni governo sta diffondendo. Questo cambierà drasticamente le nostre abitudini, almeno per le prossime settimane.

In this moment of enormous difficulty, therefore, some simple rules that every government is broadcasting must be respected. This will drastically change our habits, at least for the next few weeks.

La speranza e la certezza è che questo incubo deve essere affrontato con la massima serietà da parte di tutti; una volta passato ci renderà più forti e ci saprà far assaporare al meglio anche i piccoli gesti che magari prima ci sembravano insignificanti.

The hope and certainty is that this nightmare must be tackled with the utmost seriousness by all; once passed it will make us stronger and will make us appreciate far more even the smallest gestures that perhaps before seemed to us insignificant.
