If you’re staying in Korea, there are a few festivals you can look forward to in the month of March:

The Cheongdo Bullfighting Festival (청도 소씨움 축제) will take place on March 17^th to March 20 in Gyeongsangbuk Province (경상북도). Bullfighting has a long tradition in Gyeongsangbuk Province and people gather in large crowds to see it.

The Yeongdeok Snow Crab Festival (영덕  대게 축제 ) will begin March 11^th of this year to March 13 of this year. The main attractions are the open air markets that sell snow crabs at reduced prices, the free snow crab dishes and a snow crab boat ride.

The Jindo Sea Parting Festival (신비의 바닷길 축제) will start on March 19^th and will end on March 21^st. Every year at this time of the year the change in tide causes the water to part. Visitors are able to walk over the sea floor and see star fish, abalone and other sea animals.

The Gurye Sansuyu Festival (구례 산수유 축게) will commence on March 17^th to March 20^th. The Gurye Sansuyu Festival celebrates the arrival of spring and the blooming of the sansuyu flowers. There will be a fireworks display and a sansuyu food market.
