Today, you are going to learn one of most common verb ending “네요/Nae yo/”. It is a verb ending and an exclamation. For instance, I didn’t know: 몰랐네요 instead of 몰랐어요. It is the same meaning of “I didn’t know”, but the sounds will be different when you hear in Korean. Please read more examples below.
Gook work! 잘했네요
You ate a lot! 많이 먹었네요
He is handsome. 잘 생겼네요
She is pretty. 예쁘네요
He/she is fat! 뚱뚱하네요
It is very good! 좋네요.
You can use above without 요 to your friends only. You want to be polite always, so don’t forget to use 요.
