This week you will learn Korean ending verb; “How is (it)?/ (이/가) 어때요?/(e ga) eo ddae yo?” This phrase is very useful for beginners.  You would use this expression to be friendly to your friends and people.  Let’s make some sentences with using vocabularies below. 이/가 is subject particles you can add right after nouns without space. When there is ending consonant, you should add 이. When there is no ending consonant, just add 가.

음식 /food/ eum sik

날씨/weather/nal ssi

오늘/today/o nul

수업/class, lesson/soo eop

점심/lunch/jeom sim

건강/health/geon gang

The examples below are how you can use above the vocabularies with 이/가 어때요.

음식이 어때요? How is the food?

날씨가 어때요? How is the weather?

오늘 어때요? How is your day? (Do not put 이, exception)

수업이 어때요? How is the class?

점심이 어때요? How is (your) lunch?

건강이 어때요? How is (your) health?
