Have you ever wondered how English slang could be interpreted into Latin? Take a look at some of these phrases in Latin. Can you guess what they might mean in English? Remember, these phrases were not used by the ancient Romans, but they are fun phrases to use as code words with friends who know Latin. It’s so much fun to pass notes in class or at work, especially when you know only a few people can understand them. Oh I can just see the teacher/boss bashing begin! Of course you don’t need these phrases to talk about people behind their back. You can use it to write love letters or just do it out of boredom!
