Now we’ll take a look at the first conjugation verbs in the imperfect tense that have the suffix ī and vowel lengthening in the perfect tense.

First the active, indicative imperfect tense of iuvāre = to help, to assist

iuvābam

iuvābās

iuvābat

iuvābāmus

iuvābātis

iuvābant

Now in the passive, indicative imperfect:

iuvābar

iuvābāris

iuvābātur

iuvābāmur

iuvābāminī

iuvābantur
