Have you ever met someone and wondered how they’re so positive all the time? They’re always so happy and never complain… While it might seem hard to be positive all the time, there’s a way to be more grateful and not take life so seriously. No one else can control your feelings besides you, so if you want to be more positive, you have to take the appropriate steps to get there.

About the Author: Kasia

My name is Kasia Scontsas. I grew near Lublin, Poland and moved to Warsaw to study International Business. I have passion for languages: any languages! Currently I live in New Hampshire. I enjoy skiing, kayaking, biking and paddle boarding. My husband speaks a little Polish, but our daughters are fluent in it! I wanted to make sure that they can communicate with their Polish relatives in our native language. Teaching them Polish since they were born was the best thing I could have given them! I have been writing about learning Polish language and culture for Transparent Language’s Polish Blog since 2010.

  1. Alan Crease:

    Very useful. I’m just starting chapter 1 of the textbook Hurra Po Polsku 2 and that is the theme of the chapter. Well, half the theme. We also need negative assessments of character. How about a supplement?

  2. Madison:

    My boyfriend is fluent in Polish and I am retiring him a card for our anniversary and want to included some polish. I saw a say online- I love my life, because it gives you to me. I love you, because you are all my life. Could you translate this to Polish for me/edit as needed to make sense. Thank you!

    • Kasia:

      @Madison Hi Madison!
      I hope it’s not too late 🙂
      I would translate your quote this way:”Uwiellbiam moje życie, bo daje mi Ciebie. Kocham Cię, bo jesteś całym moim życiem”.
