Spring is here, birds are singing, love is in the air! Today’s subject? Love phrases!

Kocham cię
I love you

Lubie cię
I like you

Kochasz mnie?
Do you love me?

Podobasz mi się.
I like you

Człowiek stworzony jest z miłości i do miłości
People were created because of love and to love

Miłość to cud, który zawsze może się znów zdarzyć
Love is a wonder which can happen again.

Nie bój się kochać.
Don’t be afraid to love.

Milcz i całuj.
Don’t talk. Just kiss.

Miłość sama w sobie jest szczęściem.
Love is a happiness.

Myślę o Tobie.

I think about you

Śniłaś mi się ostatniej nocy.

I was dreaming about you last night

Miło Cię widzieć.
Nice to see you.

Masz ładne oczy.
Your eyes are beautiful.

Jesteś piękna.
You are beautiful.

Świetnie wyglądasz!
You look great!

Nie chcę Cię stracić.
I don’t want to lose you.

Nigdy nie zapomnę o Tobie.
I will never forget you.

Serce, które kocha, zawsze pozostaje młodym.
Heart that is in love, always stay alive.

Moje słoneczko.
My sunshine.

Mój kwiatuszku.
My flower.

Jesteś najpiękniejszą kobietą, jaką w życiu spotkałem.
You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.

Jesteś moim powietrzem.
You are my air.

Miłość spada znienacka.
Love comes unexpected.

Szukam cię
I’m looking for you.

Serce to zegar, który o każdej dobie każe mi śnić i myśleć tylko o Tobie.
Heart is a clock which tells me to think about you every day.

Bez Ciebie jak bez uśmiechu, niebo pochmurnieje.
Without you like without smile-the sky is dark.

Do następnego razu… (Till next time…)

About the Author: Kasia

My name is Kasia Scontsas. I grew near Lublin, Poland and moved to Warsaw to study International Business. I have passion for languages: any languages! Currently I live in New Hampshire. I enjoy skiing, kayaking, biking and paddle boarding. My husband speaks a little Polish, but our daughters are fluent in it! I wanted to make sure that they can communicate with their Polish relatives in our native language. Teaching them Polish since they were born was the best thing I could have given them! I have been writing about learning Polish language and culture for Transparent Language’s Polish Blog since 2010.
