Wakacyjne wspomnienia, holiday memories in a rhyme:))) Posted by on Jul 31, 2013 in Nature

Summer is here and we should be having fun! Kids are at the camps or spending time with their families:) Here is a little rhyme in Polish about holiday memories and the summer:

Wakacyjne wspomnienia

Gdy kwitną akacje –już czas na wakacje.

To okres wesoły, bez książek i szkoły.

Bo lato i słońce – to super jest sprawa,

Kiedy trwa nieprzerwanie zabawa.

Bałtyk ,Tatry lub Mazury,

Błękit nieba, żadnej chmury.

Wszędzie wokół moc atrakcji,

Ważne, by być ciągle w akcji.

Lipiec, sierpień– to dla dzieci,

okres bardzo jest wesoły.

Lecz od września, każdy uczeń

Wracać, musi znów do szkoły.

Lato, lato i… po lecie,

Idzie jesień, czas nauki.

Znów zasiądę w szkolnej ławce,

Więc trzymajcie za mnie kciuki.

When acacias bloom-it’s time for the holidays.

This period cheerful, without books and school.

Because summer and sun – it’s a great thing,

When play continued uninterrupted.

Baltic, Tatras or Masuria,

Blue sky, no clouds.

All around plenty of attractions,

It is important to be constantly in action.

July, August and is for children,

period is very cheerful.

But from September, each student

Must go back to the school.

Summer, summer and .. end of the summer,

Autumn is coming, study time.

Again, I will sit at a school desk,

So keep your fingers crossed for me.

Do następnego razu… (Till next time…)

I wanted to make sure that they can communicate with their Polish relatives in our native language. Teaching them Polish since they were born was the best thing I could have given them! I have been writing about learning Polish language and culture for Transparent Language’s Polish Blog since 2010.
