There are times when you really want to show someone how you care and there are different ways to do it. I love when my friends here in America try to write an email, message or card in Polish. I know they really try and I really appreciate it!….Ok, I have to admit,  sometimes I have a lot of fun reading it too!!!Not that I laugh at the mistakes, but mistakes sometimes can be really cute!

So here is a little help for you guys, just in case you would like to write an email to your Polish friend:)

About the Author: Kasia

My name is Kasia Scontsas. I grew near Lublin, Poland and moved to Warsaw to study International Business. I have passion for languages: any languages! Currently I live in New Hampshire. I enjoy skiing, kayaking, biking and paddle boarding. My husband speaks a little Polish, but our daughters are fluent in it! I wanted to make sure that they can communicate with their Polish relatives in our native language. Teaching them Polish since they were born was the best thing I could have given them! I have been writing about learning Polish language and culture for Transparent Language’s Polish Blog since 2010.

  1. Mary Ann:

Just wanted to thank you for the Blogs you write. They are so practical and I love that each one has a theme and are so useful, like this one. My favorite so far has been the one you did on Comforting Polish Phrases.

  2. Mary Ann:

I should have mentioned that I absolutely loved your post on writing e-mails in Polish. It’s helped me become a little more comfortable about the thought of writing someone in Polish. May tie for my favorite post of yours.
