The verb beber (to drink) has different variations. Let’s take a look at how they’re used.

2. bebedouro – water fountain, water cooler
As crianças estão com sede. Pode levar elas no bebedouro? The kids are thirsty. Can you take them to the water fountain?
3. bebedeira – drunkenness
Será que é verdade que os cientistas desenvolveram uma pílula para curar a bebedeira? Do you think it’s true that scientists developed a pill to cure drunkenness?
4. bebedor – drinker
Não todo bebedor de cachaça gosta de tequila. Not all cachaça drinkers like tequila.
5. bêbado – drunk
Não pode beber tão rápido. Vai ficar bêbado. You can’t drink so fast. You’ll get drunk.
