Hello there!

El amor is the working word of today’s post. I’m going to teach you some sentences for you to use when you want to talk about your boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, or life partner in general.

After you read the post, why don’t you tell us – in the comments area – what your loved one is like?

¡Adelante con los faroles!

Él / Ella es estupendo(a). – He’s / She’s great.
Él / Ella tiene una sonrisa linda. – He / She has a great smile.
Él / Ella me hace reír. – He / She makes me laugh.
Él / Ella me hace sentir especial. – He / She makes me feel special.
Me siento bien cuando estoy cerca de él /ella. – I feel well when I’m around him / her.
Tenemos mucho en común. – We have a lot in common.
Pensamos de la misma manera. – We think the same way.
Tuvimos una educación parecida. – We come from similar backgrounds.
Apesar de que somos tan distintos nos llevamos lo más bien. – We’re so different, but we get along really well.
Él / Ella sabe como llevarme. – He / Sher knows how to deal with me.
Nunca he conocido a nadie como él / ella. – I’ve never met anyone like him / her.
No me gusta estar lejos de él / ella. – I don’t like to be away from him / her.
No me imagino lejos de él / ella. – I can’t imagine myself away from him / her.
Estamos alejados hace mucho tiempo. – We’ve been away from each other for a long time.
Él / Ella me escucha de verdad. – He / She really listens to me.

Él / Ella me entiende como nadie. – He / She understands me like nobody else.
No siento el tiempo pasar cuando estamos juntos. – Time flies by when we’re together.
Él / Ella tiene muchas cualidades que yo admiro en una persona. – He / She has a lot of qualities I admire in a person.
Él / Ella me acepta como soy. – He / She accepts me for who I am.
Él / Ella me acepta con todos mis defectos. – He / She accepts me and all my faults.
Es demasiado bueno para ser verdad. – It’s too good to be true.
Me gusta su manera de ser. – I love the way he / she is.
Él / Ella no es como los otros / las otras. – He / She is not like the others.
Quiero hacerlo (la) feliz. – I want to make him / her happy.
Pienso a cada rato en él / ella. – I think about him / her all the time.
Creo que me estoy enamorando de él / ella. – I think I’m falling in love with him / her.
Yo lo / la amo. – I love him / her.
