Argumentation templates in Swedish Posted by Tibor on Feb 20, 2017 in Culture, Grammar
You don’t need to ditch someone’s opinion in a rude manner just because you disagree with them. You can be objective and diplomatic in the same time, not raising your voice against or cutting off someone. In Swedish society you won’t gain much with an aggressive attitude. It is rather the opposite. You won’t be able to prove a point if you appear aggressively, bullying or too persistent in a conversation. People will walk away and treat you with silence. It is just a cultural thing and you will see how appreciated it is if you truly can master the art of reasoning.
I have collected some easier and some advanced templates that you can use both in conversations and writing. Please bear in mind that you can also combine them or create your own templates.
