FÖRE NU (past aspect)  NU (present aspect)  EFTER NU (future aspect)
Perfect: Finished activity, but unknown or continous time sequence.

Jag har arbetat mycket den här månaden.

I have worked much this month.Perfect: Perfect has usually a result in the now. The activity might have started before “now”.

Jag har öppnat fönstret.

result: Fönstret är öppet. (see column NU!)

 

 

continous activities:Jag cyklar nu.I am biking now.or

Jag sitter och läser.

I am sitting and reading.

general: Jag har mycket pengar.

I have a lot of money.

Result of Perfect:

result: Fönstret är öppet.

The window is open.

Imperative:

Öppna fönstret!

Open the window!

Present + time Jag flyger imorgon.I am flying tomorrow. (present + time)Jag ska åka till Finland den 20 september.I will travel to Finland the 20th september.

Modal verb + infinitive

Jag planerar vara hemma på grund av att jag är sjuk.

I plan to be at home because I am sick.

Perfect in future:

När jag har läst boken, ska jag återlämna den.

When I have read the book I will return it.
