    Ahlan, Arabic lovers! Today, we are going to read a short biography السيرة الذاتية of one of the most influential artists فنانين in Egypt and the Arab world. Nour Al-Sharif نور الشريف , as he was nicknamed, is a famous contemporary معاصر Egyptian actor ممثل. His birth name is Muhammad Gabir Abdallah محمد جابر عبد الله.

    Nour Al-Sharif was born on 28th April 1946 to a middle class family in Al-Sayidah Zainab District حى السيدة زينب in Cairo. After High School, he joined the Faculty of Commerce كلية التجارة but he transferred to the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts المعهد العالى للفنون المسرحية and graduated from it in 1967. He was married to the famous artist Poussi بوسي and had two daughters; Mai مي and Sarah سارة. After a long life of hard work, Nour Al-Sharif died on 11th August 2015 leaving behind a wealth of nearly 200 films, 30 TV series and some plays. He played all kinds of characters and there is almost no house in the Arab world that does not know him.
