In this post, we’ll practice using numbers الأرقام and words related to numbers in Arabic through answering some fun questions about our daily lives حياتنا اليومية. Before we begin, let’s look at the following vocabulary words that will help us understand the questions and help us answer them.

مدة/ فترة: a period of time 

تقضي/تمضي : to spend (as in time)  

أطول: longest

عدد: number of/ amount

مرات: times

عمر: age

ساعة/ساعات: hour/s

دقيقة/دقائق: minute/s

ثانية/ثواني: second/s

يوم/أيام: day/s

أسبوع/أسابيع: week/s

شهر/شهور: month/s

سنة/ سنوات: year/s

Example:

ما أكبر عدد من السندويشات التي أكلتها دفعة واحدة؟

أربع سندويشات أو٤ سندويشات

What are the most sandwiches you’ve eaten at once? four sandwiches
