What are the nicest memories from your childhood?

In this post, we’ll talk about childhood الطفولة. We’ll first read an Arabic definition of the word طفولة, then practice our Arabic writing and vocabulary skills through a fun exercise where we answer some questions about our own childhood.

Before we read the definition below, can you guess the root word for طفولة?

Yup, child in Arabic is طفل and the plural form is أطفال.

📝Important vocabulary to help us understand the definition:

الولادة: birth 

مرحلة: stage

سن المراهقة: adolescence 

مراعاة: consideration 

نفسية الطفل:  the psychology of the child

هي المرحلة العمرية التي تبدأ منذ الولادة وحتى مرحلة سن المراهقة، والتي تعتبر المرحلة الوسطى بين مرحلة الطفولة ومرحلة الشباب وباقي المراحل الأخرى، وهذه المرحلة تتميّز بالعديد من الأمور الهامة التي تدل على ضرورة مراعاة نفسية الطفل

    The topic of childhood/your childhood is a great topic. I really like reading the short fill-in-the-blank exercise and how I could apply it to my current students of Arabic.

    Do you also have similar exercises on general business Arabic?
