أعلنت الشرطة البريطانية أن حصيلة القتلى في حريق البرج السكني في لندن ارتفعت إلى ثلاثين شخصا، توفي أحدهم في المستشفى متأثرا بجراحه

كشفت السلطات البريطانية عن أول هوية لأحد ضحايا الحريق الذي شب في برج غرينفيل في لندن، وهو لاجئ سوري يدعى محمد الحاج علي

محمد كان يقيم مع شقيقه عمر في الدور الرابع عشر، حاولا الهروب سويا لكنهما افترقا على السلم

وقد أنقذ رجال المطافئ عمر بينما لقى محمد حتفه

عُمَرْ: ذَهَبْتُ إِلَى الشَّقَّـةِ واتَّصَلْتُ بِهِ وَسَأَلْتُهُ: “أَيْنَ أَنْتَ؟”

قَالَ لِي: “أَنَا فِي الشَّقَّة”.

سَأَلْتُهُ: “لِمَاذَا لَمْ تَأْتِ؟” – لَقَدْ أَخَذُونَا إِلَى الخَارِجْ، ظَنَنْتُ أَنَّكَ مَعَنَا.

قَالَ لِي: “لَمْ يُخْرِجْنِي أَحَدْ”.

قَالَ لِي: ” لِمَاذَا تَرَكْتَنِي؟”

هَاشِمْ: قَالَ لِي: “قُلْ لِأُمِّي أَنْ تَقْرَأَ القُرْآنَ، وَأَنْ تَدْعُو لِي”

حَدِيثُهُ أَصْبَحَ أَبْطَأْ، وَقَالَ: “هَاشِمْ، لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَتَحَدَّثَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ ذَلِكْ”

ثُمَّ سَمِعْتُ صَوْتَ تَصَدُّعْ وَانْقَطَعَ الاِتِّصَالْ
