Welcome to the second part of this post. Last week, we looked at half of the song ‘Mom, answer me’ and today, we’re going to look at the other half, starting from 02:04.

Islamic heritage

 

مَـوْعِدُ القِصَّه قَبْلَ النَّوْمْ

The story time is before bed

هَذَا مَا نَفْعَلُهُ كُلًّ يَوْمْ

this is what we do everyday

اِذْهَبْ وَالْهُو فِي الأَلْعَابْ

Go and play with your toys (games)

 أَمَا مِنْ أَحَدِ يَفْتَحُ البَابْ!!؟؟

Isn’t there someone who could answer the door?

مَامَا رُدِّي عَـلَيّ

Mom, answer me

بَابَا رُدَ عَـلَيّ

Dad, answer me

مُوتَة رُدِّي عَـلَيّ

Moota, answer me

مُودِي رُدِّي عَـلَيّ

Moody, answer me

مَامَا رُدِّي

Mama, answer me

 بَابَا وَ جَدِّي

Dad, and grandpa

 مُوتَة رُدِّي

Moota, answer me

مُودِي رُدِّي

Moody, answer me

رُدِّي ي ي ي ي ي

Answer meeeeeee

مُوتَة حِينَ تُنْهِي الفَرْضَ

Moota, when she finishes her homework

 سَتَلْعَبُ مَعَنَا الغُمَّيْضَة

she will play with us ‘hide and seek’

 أَلَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ ؟؟

won’t she?

أَلَيْسَ كَذَلِكَ ؟؟

won’t she?

وَالكُلُّ يُشَارِكْ

And everybody joins

وَالكُلُّ يُشَارِكْ

And everybody joins

مُودِو لَدَيَّ امْتِحَانْ

Moodo, I’ve got an exam

 وَلَنْ أَلْعَبَ مَعَكَ الآنْ

And I won’t play with you now

 اذْهَبْ وِأسْأَلْ مُودِي حَبِيبِي

Go and ask Moody, sweetheart

 إِنْ كَانَ فِي الإِمْكَانْ

If that’s possible

مَامَا رُدِّي عَـلَيّ

Mom, answer me

بَابَا رُدَ عَـلَيّ

Dad, answer me

مُوتَة رُدِّي عَـلَيّ

Moota, answer me

مُودِي رُدِّي عَـلَيّ

Mama, answer me

 بَابَا وَ جَدِّي

مُودِي وَجَدْتُكِ أَخِيراً

Moody, I’ve finally found you

 الكُلُّ مَشَغُولُونَ كَثِيراً

Everyone is very busy

 لَا يَسْمَعُونَنِي….

They are not listening to me..

 لَا يَهْتَمُّونَ بِي

they’re not paying attention to me

حَبِيبِي مُودُو الغَالِي

My sweetheart Moodo, the precious one

  لَا تَحْزَنْ لَا تُبَالِي

Don’t be upset, don’t be worry

 سَامِحْنَا فَـ الكُلُّ مَشْغُولْ

forgive us, everyone is busy

 لَكِنَّكَ سَتَجِدُ الحُلُولْ

But you’ll find some solutions

مَا هِيَ الحُلُولْ مَا هِيَ؟

What are the solutions? what are they?

=============

لَدَيَّ بَعْضُ الأَلْعَابُ…. بَعْضُ الأَلْعَابْ

I’ve got some toys (games) .. some toys (games)

وَقِصَصُ فِي كِتَابْ… فِي كِتَابْ

And stories in a book .. in a book

هَا قَدْ نَضَجَ الغَدَاءْ

And here it is.. the lunch is ready

نَضَجَ الغَدَاءْ

the lunch is ready
