In a comment on my last post, one of the readers asked for posts suitable for beginners, and in this post, I present a simple video which teaches reading words related to family relationships. The videos are from a YouTube site called (Learn with Zakaria).

أنا زكريا وهذا صديقي زيكو

I am Zakaria and this is my friend Ziko

واليوم سوف نتعلم قراءة أسماء أفراد العائلة

Today, we will learn to read words related to family members

هل أنت مستعد؟

Are you ready?

هيا نقرأ

Let’s read!

أبي = My father

أمي = My mother

أختي = My sister

أخي = My brother

جدي = My grandfather

جدتي = My grandmother

عمي = My (paternal) uncle

عمتي = My (paternal) aunt

خالي  = My (maternal) uncle

خالتي = My (maternal) aunt

أبي = My father

أحسنت = Well Done!

أمي = My mother

جيد = good!

أختي = My sister

ممتاز = excellent!

 نعم = Yes!

جدتي = My grandmother

أحسنت = Well Done!

عمي = My (paternal) uncle

بالفعل = Indeed!

عمتي = My (paternal) aunt

جيد = good!

خالي  = My (maternal) uncle

ممتاز = excellent!

خالتي = My (maternal) aunt

أحسنت = Well Done!
